When I was younger, I always wanted to be older so I could party all the time and buy beer and tickets to rated R movies.  I never imagined my twenties would suck–rife with overthinking and underdoing.

Expressing my thoughts through writing has always provided me with a sense of security and balance when I felt overwhelmed.  Here, approaching a quarter of a century, I feel there’s no better time to look back at what writing has done for me in the past and what it can do for me now and in the future.
